FOUNDER & RESTAURATEUR 

Before earning a degree in Agribusiness & Agricultural Business Operations at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (with an emphasis on Marketing to boot!) Nate worked his way up San Francisco's top restaurants with acclaimed mentors like Chef Joseph Manzare of Postrio and Spago fame. 

Under the guidance of restaurateurs Joseph Manzare and Mary Klingbeil, he managed and marketed a number of celebrated restaurants including Globe, Zuppa, and Joey & Eddie's. Driven to develop new skills, Nate coordinated private dining experiences, tended bar, curated impactful wine lists, and learned to ensure busy kitchens keep up with dining demands. During this time he discovered the secrets to lasting success: clear communication, seasonal menu planning, and a commitment to exceed industry standards.

Creative with a strategic mind, Nate's also managed brand strategy and marketing efforts for one of the nation's leading lettuce producers, Tanimura & Antle. Today, he leads the dedicated team of Nate's on Marsh—the flagship restaurant of his growing hospitality business, NRL Food Group.
